About Me

Hi, my name is Karina, and I run Alteration Station.

Having grown up with sewing and various forms of crafts, I chose to further my studies in that which comes naturally, and completed a National Diploma in fashion and textile design.

To turn something old, into something new. To change something borrowed, or just to add something blue - giving your favourite things a new lease on life, is what makes me happy.

With retailors creating ever changing products, costing ever-climbing prices, one sometimes simply need to change a neckline, shift a hemline, or add a new pop of colour to be back on track and in trend.

And for this very reason, Alteration Station was born.
